I was talking to my landlord (a Republitard) who said; "If Warren Buffet is so concerned about his secretary paying more taxes than he does as a percentage; then why doesn't Buffet pay the difference"? I answered: "because that would be shifting the burden from other rich people who wouldn't pay, while naively Buffet did". Landlord retorted a nonsequiter that spending was the problem, and; "but we need security". I told him; "then pay for it instead of trying to make people who don't need "formal" security pay for it. Poor people have nothing to lose, it's the rich who have everything to lose."
