For the fundamental religious conservative, it's not speculation or faith, it's a fact that's on the verge of being entirely dis-proven. They'll inevitably counter with the old weak; well God created the multiverse. Then why no mention of it in the Bible that God is doing an incredible amount of creating beyond our universe? Not to mention creations so utterly foreign to our understanding that human beings can't even begin to conceptualize the complexities of what a 5-6-7-8-9-10-11 dimensions would even be like? And here we are stuck in this lousy limited 4th dimension ... I call it the bizarro dimension. Even if I believed there was a God, he probably wrote this universe off as one of his many failures.
