I am not a Newty. I do give him credit for engineering the most remarkable takeover of congress in history, but I just don't think he is electable. I didn't vote for McCain/Duncecap, btw. But I did vote for Bob Dole, knowing he wasn't electable either - he'd of made a fine POTUS though.
Look, I am slightly over a half-centry old, and have seen exactly TWO incumbant POTUS' lose. Its rather a gimme for Bambi. But the GOP hold on the House is just too much to overcome, and there are 23 dem seats in the Senate up for grabs (and those retiring, like flies) v. only 10 GOP.
