I guess asking brides to for-go receiving gifts and suggesting they give
donations to his campaign didn't work.

First lady Michelle Obama says in a fund-raising email to supporters that
the campaign is planning a fund-raiser at their house in Kenwood — and
small contributors can win a chance to get on the guest list.
Supporters who give $3 or more to the re-election campaign automatically
will be entered into the contest to join Obama at the fund-raiser.
