*MULLINS ON TRANSPORTATION:* Pat Mullins, chairman of the Republican Party
of Virginia, made some comments Tuesday on his Facebook page that are
dead-on accurate regarding HB 2313, the transportation funding bill. “A lot
of good Republicans have worked very hard on this issue, and they deserve a
lot of praise,” Mullins wrote. “But I have concerns with the bill as
currently written. I am hopeful that the Governor will seek to amend what
passed to remove some of the portions of this bill.”
“We need to be serious about paring back the size of government wherever we
can. We need real cuts, not just cuts in the growth of spending, but real
and substantial cuts. The taxpayers of Virginia will feel better about us
as a Party if we champion this cause,” he said.

communities safe and prosperous,” Puckett writes. “I am confident in
Jeannemarie’s ability to lead on the issues we care about. Despite
representing Democrat leaning districts, in both the State House and the

*CUCCINELLI, THE EXTREMIST:* Democrats are now ramping up the fundraising
against presumptive GOP gubernatorial nominee Ken Cuccinelli. Here’s the
