Barack Hussein Obama’s flawed character was known before he was elected President of the United States. First and foremost was Obama’s lack of identity. This is a man devoid of national consciousness. I am referring not to his questionable citizenship but to the abysmal ignorance he displayed early on regarding America’s foundational documents, the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Obama is in truth a man without a country. Second, and consistent with the preceding, Obama publically rejected the idea of American Exceptionalism, a rejection rooted in his multicultural moral relativism. Even before the 2008 election, he called himself a “cosmopolitan.” Third, consider Obama’s adulation of Islam, America’s mortal enemy. This was evident even before he bowed to Saudi King Abdullah, a gesture that manifest his contempt for America and the office conferred upon him by the benighted American people. Fourth, it was obvious early on that Obama is a socialist committed to a redistribution of wealth. But this means he is a Leftwing Statist who denies the primacy of individual freedom, the wellspring of creativity. Fifth, it was also obvious that Obama lacked even a modicum of knowledge concerning foreign affairs. He came into the White House abysmally ignorant of history in general and of American history in particular. Sixth, given his ignorance of the past, Obama was bound to adopt a policy of Change—meaning Regime Change. This policy required him to arouse resentment against the well-established ideas and institutions of the United States. Regime change required him to arouse egalitarian envy and to plant the seeds of class conflict. Seventh, since Obama was psychologically out of tune with Americanism, the only way he could conduct himself in what amounted to a hostile cultural environment was to engage in dissembling and prevarication, or what Islam calls taqiyya. We see this manifested in his administration’s avoidance of the term “terrorism” vis-à-vis Muslims. Recall what happened on November 5, 2009 at Fort Hood, Texas, when Nidal Malik Hasan, a 39-year-old Muslim serving as a U.S. Army major, shot and killed 13 people and wounded over 30 more. The Obama Administration characterized this act of Islamic terrorism as “workplace violence”—to obscure an act motivated by the murderous teachings of what Mr. Obama calls the “holy Quran.” This mendacity is the *condicio sine qua non* of Mr. Obama and his administration.
