This week, Halalgoogling, a search engine that fetches results from others
like Google and Bing and filters content according to Islamic law was
launched.****

A press release announced that the Sharia-friendly search engine has a
built-in “advanced special filtering system that blocks *Haram* content
according to the Law of Islam” doing away with any content containing
things such as “pornography, nudity, gay, lesbian, bisexual, gambling,
anti-Islamic content”.****

Some examples of attempted searches on the site

that may offend sharia:****

while seeking a B.A. in English. After learning about many of the biases
present in most modern newsrooms, Rolley became determined to find a
position in journalism that would allow him to combat the unsavory image
that the news industry has gained. He is dedicated to seeking the truth and
exposing the lies disseminated by the mainstream media at the behest of
their corporate masters, special interest groups and information
gatekeepers. ****
