@CORYBOOKER’S IMAGINARY FRIEND (WITH VIDEO!)****

While observers of Cory Booker have long suspected the infamous “T-Bone”
character in his speeches was fictional – despite his assertions to the
contrary – it has never been definitively proven. Until now. Eliana Johnson
has a fabulous story worth reading in full over at National
Review<http://nationalreview.com/article/357064/cory-bookers-imaginary-friend-eliana-johnson>.
Here’s the definitive debunking of “T-Bone”:****

*The T-Bone tale never sat right with Rutgers University history professor
Clement Price, a Booker supporter who tells National Review Online he found
the mayor’s story offensive because it “pandered to a stereotype of
inner-city black men.” T-Bone, Price says, “is a southern-inflected name.
You would expect to run into something or somebody named T-Bone in Memphis,
not Newark.”*

*Price considers himself a mentor and friend to Booker and says Booker
conceded to him in 2008 that T-Bone was a “composite” of several people
he’d met while living in Newark. The professor describes a “tough
conversation” in which he told Booker “that I disapproved of his inventing
such a person.” “If you’re going to create a composite of a man along High
Street,” he says he asked Booker, “why don’t you make it W. E. B. DuBois?”
>From Booker, he says, “There was no pushback. He agreed that was a mistake.”
*

The Newark Star-Ledger confirmed Booker’s
confession<http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/08/the_tale_of_t-bone_cory_bookers_past_statements_haunt_him_on_campaign_trail_with.html>
:****

*In an interview with The Star-Ledger, Price reiterated the confession.*

*“Cory realized that he had erred,” Price said of his 2008 conversation
with the mayor. “He told me that my criticism of his invention of T-Bone
made perfect sense to him and he had made a mistake.”*

And then the Star-Ledger dropped this absolutely astonishing revelation; as
of *today* the Booker campaign is still insisting – *even though Booker
confessed* – that T-Bone is real:****

*The Booker campaign declined to comment but spokesman Kevin Griffis
pointed to previous comments Booker has made where he insisted that T-Bone
was a real person.*

The man is shameless. Which makes you wonder; what else is he lying about?**
