** ** The all-knowing federal government is collecting a massive database on its citizens, including their sexual histories. The abuses that Edward Snowden revealed the NSA is conducting are nothing compared to what Obamacare is offering to wannabe tyrants in the federal government. Betsy Mccaughey<http://www.creators.com/conservative/betsy-mccaughey/obama-wants-your-sexual-history.html>explains: **** Whether you're at the dermatologist or the cardiologist, you'll likely be asked: "Are you sexually active? If so, do you have one partner, multiple partners or same-sex partners?"**** Doctors are being turned into government agents, where they're pressured financially to ask questions they consider inappropriate and unnecessary and violate their Hippocratic Oath to keep patients' records confidential.** ** The problem is that doctors and hospitals are being financially pressured to adopt the electronic medical records system that places your confidential medical history on a database.**** Doctors and hospitals who don't comply with the federal government's electronic health records requirements forego incentive payments now and face financial penalties from Medicare and Medicaid starting in 2015. The Department of Health and Human Services has already paid out over $12.7 billion in incentives to doctors and hospitals.**** Maybe you trust the bureaucrats to not spend their time looking up the sexual histories of people they know, or people who are inconvenient to their bosses, or people the president identifies as his enemies, but I don't. We know that NSA people have been using their system to spy on ex lovers. I hardly believe that the medical bureaucrats in Obamacare wiwll be more ethical or more skilled than the spooks at NSA.**** A reader has experienced the changes Mccaughey refers to:**** I can attest to first hand of this during a recent experience w/a new doctor. I got a plethora of forms to fill out and the questions went far and beyond the usual health history. There was section after section that was much more about social history and questions that would get at mental health issues, like if you're satisfied with your life, happy, etc. I left it all blank and it was a bit of a red flag. Thought it reflected this doc, in particular, but now I'm wondering if this is a trend we will all start to see. Sickening. I parse my words when I go to the doctor anymore.**** There is so much potential for abuse here that it boggles the mind. This is the road to totalitarian domination.
