I doubt seriously that this would work in the United States, for several reasons. First, Europeans are much better, superior drivers than we are, collectively.
Second, and most important, is that we have a lot of stupid, uneducated people here in the U.S. that should not be allowed to drive in the first place. When you see idiot women driving in the left hand lane going 63 miles an hour while texting......This would not even remotely be considered in Germany! Such a person caught doing this would have their drivers' license revoked on the spot.
