*Muslim violence is continually occuring all over the world, and America is
no exception. Sometimes it is swept under the rug like the incident
described below by Constantine - Burkasrugly*
Hard on the heels of the Westgate Mall terrorist attack in Nairobi, Kenya
people are asking, "Can it happen in the USA?" It has and will likely occur
again in the future unless preventive steps are taken.
Ever hear of the Trolley Square shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah ?
On February 12, 2007 a lone Muslim terrorist, Sulejman Talovic, entered the
Trolley Square Mall. He was armed with a .38 caliber revolver, a 12 gauge
shotgun and a large backpack filled with hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
He entered the Mall and began shooting people, while crying out the now
obligatory "Allahu Akbar".
Fortunately off duty policeman Kenneth Hammond was having dinner with his
pregnant wife Sarita Hammond in one of the Mall's restaurants. Hearing the
gunshots Officer Hammond got up and walked into the hallway to investigate.
There he confronted Talovic. Quickly Hammond drew his concealed weapon and
seriously wounded the Muslim terrorist. Finally the Salt Lake City police
SWAT team arrived. Talovic was cornered and finally killed by the SWAT
team. The FBI did not declare this attack as Jihad nor even link it to
Islam. It was just another random shooting.
Talovic killed five people and wounded four more. His body was
shipped back to Cerska, Bosnia. The Muslim funeral rites were read over his
lifeless body. He was buried on March 2, 2007. He was celebrated as a
jihadi martyr in his homeland.
As you prepare to enjoy Black Friday shopping and bargain hunting please
keep this cautionary story in mind. We have already had one Islamic terror
attack on an American Mall. I fear it will not be the last. Please keep a
heightened sense of awareness during the upcoming Christmas shopping
season. Have a plan tucked away
in the back of your head just in case trouble rears its ugly Islamic head.
Meanwhile the mother of Sulejman Talovic told a Salt Lake City television
station, "He was such a good boy." Aren't they all.
This column is written in memory of the five victims killed by Talovic.
They are:
Teresa Ellis, 29
Brad Frantz, 24
Kirsten Hinckley, 15
Vanessa Quinn, 29
Jeffrey Walker, 53
The four wounded were Carolyn Tuft (43), Shawn Munns (34), Stacy Hanson
(53) and
Alan Walker (16).
