"We all will." Derek admitted sitting back and looking at the information
Alex had called up so far "I believe the best thing to do about the
sephlicurs is not tell anyone where we each put the sephlicurs and that we
hide the keys in other places as well. Not even each other."
He then looked at the information for a thoughtful moment before turning to
her, wanting her input on the idea.
It was then that the opening to the Control Room sounded and he looked back,
taken off-guard as both Julia and Rachel spotted Philip and the items before
him.
"Oh, hell." Derek whispered under his breath, seeing both women visibly
flinch and and then turn toward him.
Alex was just about to answer. Of course it was probably the best solution
and she would do it, but the fact of the matter was, she didn't much relish
the idea of taking one of the sephilcurs and it's key on her own off into
the wild blue yonder. The intrusion that seemed to annoy Derek slightly was
actually a relief for her. "I'm working on that blood sample," she told
Julia. "Nice work. Are yu all right?"

she ran inside as fast as she could. "Mom! Alex! Are you here?" She
called our running through the house looking for them.
