"Teach you to learn French,"
Alex told her with a grin. She'd actually known all along what was in that
dish. Although, she figured everyone knew what escargots was and she
had been nagging Julia about learning at least a little French. Then of
course there was the element of fun in seeing Julia's expression when she
realized what she was eating.
Julia drank some of her juice and nodded "Well, yes it did
get me to learn French."
Then she leaned toward Kat and mock whispered "But now you
know why I can't stand seeing mushrooms. Bleck."
"Do you know what finally tipped me off?" she asked them
all in general, talking about realizing they were snails instead of
mushrooms.
Rachel shook her head and continued to eat, curious as to
how but knowing that the topic was to get Kat's mind off of whatever had upset
her.
