Subject: Re: [Poltergeist - The Legacy] Mitchell/Traci/Kat

Traci had been watching the Corrigan girls the whole entire time. She never
let them out of her sight...and then there was Kat all alone...she saw the
images of what Mitchell wanted her to do. She walked over to the little girl,
placed a hand on her shoulder then whispered. "Call any attention onto us and
you and your mother will surely die." Traci looked up and over at Rachel and
mouth the words 'Scream, yell, tell a soul and you shall never see her
again.'  She looked back down at Kat. "Lets go kid we've got somewhere to be."

"Now," Mitchell whispered into her mind.. forcing his will on her to
approach Kat while Rachel wasn't near.  If he could get his hands on Kat,
Rachel would follow him anywhere without hesitation.

He opened up his mind and showed Traci what he wanted her to do: Go up to
Kat, put your hand on her shoulder and warn her about making a sound.. then
turn toward Rachel before the others saw.  Make her know that if she said
anything Kat would die.  Then leave.

"Bring her to me." Mitchell whispered, even as he reached out with his mind
and ordered Traci to obey.

Kat watched the woman work, suddenly noticing an odd look on her face.
"What's the matter."

"I ran out of the icing I was using for the shells," she replied dismayed.
"I'll have to make some more.  How about if we have them delivered to your
house, that way you and your mother won't have to wait here while I make
it."  The woman had their address on a form they had filled out when placing
the orer.

"Well, I have to wait her for my mom anyway," kat informed her patiently.

"Oh honey, it'll take me longer than that," the woman said with a smile.
"Don't worry you'll have them tonight."

"All right," Kat agreed, but she was pretty disappointed.  She didn't eve
get to see them.

The woman grinned at her.  "Here," she said handing one of the cupcakes to
her.  "That ones on the house, since you have to wait."  "And it will give
you a chance to taste test it."

Kat's eyes lit up.  "Thank you," she said reaching up and taking it.  She
looked at it closely.  A small purplish snail sat on green icing that looked
very much like grass.  Kat was delighted.  It didn't really look very
realistic, more like a cartoon version of a snail, but it was really cute.
"They look great," she told the woman.  "Thanks again."  She headed over to
one of the chairs and sat down nibbling on the cake.  She didn't want to eat
the whole thing until Rachel could see.
