Derek frowned, the question just coming to him. Why hadn't Rachel heard...... and why was Kat asking.... And then he realized. The demon used the person's fear and regret against them -- and Kat's greatest fear, most recent fear... was of Julia being..... But then Mitchell turned to him and clenched his hand in an invisible grip around Derek's throat, cutting off what he was going to tell Kat. It didn't matter though... Derek would choke it out if he had to -- Kat had to shake Mitchell's hold over her, or when the time came, the team might lose their chance to save the girl because of a hesitation. "You.. won't.. win....... Mitchell!" Derek gasped out, letting that be Kat's answer and praying that she would understand and remember what he had said about 'feeling' the truth "They're coming -- to stop you!" Kat heard, but it took a minute or two for it to sink in. She hadn't like Mitchell though and right from the start. She thought about this. She never felt that way about Julia, even when she was scared she never felt taht same feeling that Mitchell gave her. It sort of made sense, maybe it wasn't Julia hurting people. It was then that Rachel started to go off with the thing and Kat broke herself free, not even realizing that she was the one who had done it. She looked to derek for help, hoping he noticed that she could move but not....Mitchell. For that's who she saw now. Kat
