Derek looked at Kat, trying to keep his voice low "Get out
of here, Kat... as soon as you're safe your mother can break free -- run,
Kat. Find Julia and the others!"
He stayed as still as possible as Mitchell's attention was
turned to Rachel, not wanting to bring any attention to them before Kat got her
chance. And then he concentrated. If Kat could get out, he was sure
as hell going to try too - no matter how hurt he was!
