Nick saw Kat running right
past them and down the stairs after her. They ran down and stopped shortly
behind her when they saw her stop and stare at something. Nick softly crept over
to catch a glimpse of what she was looking at and as soon as he did his mouth
dropped open too.
Philip stopped suddenly behind Nick and breathed his own shock at what he
saw "Mother o' god..."
Then he heard something behind them. Mitchell was coming....
"Nick.. we better hurry."
The doors to the library started to shake and the door to the roof behind
them started to rattle.

"My bride to be has her hands full." Mitchell drawled before reaching down
to take Derek by the neck with one hand and squeeze hard "And we still have to
teach your second in command a lesson in pain he won't soon forget. How do
you think he'll feel with you dead at his feet and Julia begging for death after
I plant my seed in her, hmm?"
Mitchell smiled cruelly "I think I'll even sweeten the deal and kill Alex
just so the crime can live with you into the next realm. Let's go!"
With little to no effort and the Precept gasping for breath as he dragged
him, Mitchell started toward the door to join the
others.
