She saw Tuffy so was mildly curious.. but then she looked at Kat's
expression and wondered if it was something more.

"Well, she didn't let a doctor look at her last night," Kat explained.  She
was too busy taking care of everyone else, "but then she didn't eat any
dinner and not even a cupcake."
