Nonetheless, The rage that the Soulchaser felt seemed to drive him just a
bit harder enabling him to catch up with the murderous entity and tackle him
to the ground. Cheron's Blade flew from the Hunter's hand as they collided
and landed on the ground a good ten feet away, while Chaser and Hunter
engaged in a fistfight, the likes of which hadn't been seen since Al Capone
and Adolph Hitler duked it out in the pit of despair.
The Hunter was actually laughing, whether he landed the blow or his enemy
did. Nothing like a good fight to get the blood boiling - not that he had
to wait for that. He was already ready to kill and had already done so.
He landed an especially vicious blow to the Soulchaser's jaw and heard a
snap, but that didn't stop the man and he continued to fight.
Good, The Hunter loved a good roll in blood!
"Hey! What's going on over there?!" a police man was suddenly there and
headed toward them.
"They show up at the damnest times, don't they?" The Hunter asked with a
hard, humorless laugh before taking the distraction and raising his knee
hard up into the Soulchasers groin and rolling over.
"The luck of the draw." he added as he scooped up the weapon the Soulchaser
had knocked from him and ran, shoving the, surprisingly, alive and unharmed
guard into the Guardian of the dead's arms.
And like that.. the chase was just made harder.
The Hunter was gone.
