They had parked and <<what's his name over here, the
butler?>> opened the door for them "I take it it went well?" he asked
them, smiling when spotting Kat and seeing her expression "Where are the
newlyweds? Everything's been set up in the living room and Ms Sherridan has
turned in for the night."
He followed them into the livingroom and collected their
coats, and Derek looked around appreciatively "Thank you for your quick work. It
looks great. And they're behind us. You're going to stay aren't
you?"
The man was a part of the household and a friend of
Julia's -- someone that actually went out of his way to spoil, Derek thought,
remembering the times he had slipped in her favorite foods and drinks at
different times.
