Now a man's voice was in her room and she didn't know him. Maybe it was a dream?
Another peculiar one. She rolled over slowly her eyes fluttering open. Something was
wrong. The child sat bolt upright in the bed and looked around. This wasn't her room
and there was a strange man and woman in there with her! She began to panick
slightly. Ginny was still there at least. She hugged the rabbit tightly. "Where's
my mother," she asked her voice trembling.
Julia looked at Derek before slowly approaching the bed and sitting down, to show that
she wasn't going to hurt the girl.
"I'm not sure," she answered honestly, hoping her tone of voice would help as well in
calming the girl down "Who is your mother?"
