Julia looked at her watch and then at the reports before looking at Philip,
"Can you call me as soon as this finishes? It's Kat's usual time to wake up
and I want to have things ready downstairs."
Philip waved her off and she winked before leaving, missing seeing the guys
in a corner talking as she skipped downstairs and to the kitchen, only to
stop once inside and greet the others and make a beeline to the fridge an
and the juice there, taking it out and then half sliding to the cabinet
holding the plates and putting them on the counter.
Having seen this mode before Dominic winked at Alyssa and gently guided her
over to where Alex sat and watched the same 'show' as Julia grinned at them

waffles - complete with singing and dancing along with the song on the
walkman and making a show of it to get the others laughing.

mood, she really wasn't. She'd rather be exploring or reading. She'd been
reading for a long time now, at least three years and she was only six. She
wasn't reading philosphy by any means, but she could read third grade books.
They all seemed to belong together and she felt even more out of place than
she normally did around other people. Cautiously the little girl slipped
out of the room and headed upstairs.
