Reese half remembered getting home but the next thing she knew it was the next morning and she was slapping her alarm and untangling herself from the sheets as she got up. The first thing she looked at were the still closed blinds of her window. A sadness filled her gaze as she stood and went to them and rolled the stick between her fingers that opened them, whispering to herself 'rise and shine it's a beautiful day.' She closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against the window, getting the reaction under control before straightening and going about the morning routine of waking up and getting dressed. She was already in the kitchen when Sam woke up, coffee in hand and cordless phone between her cheek and shoulder as she called Milo to see if he were ready yet.
