It was late afternoon by the time she found the rite
needed to call forth the Furies and Kat and Rachel had gone home, both to spend
time together and to get Kat out of possible harm's way although they hadn't
told the 8 year old that.
Julia looked back as someone entered the Control Room and
couldn't help but smile when she saw it was Nick.
And she had found the Hunter's mortal history. It
wasn't pretty to say the least.
"How're things out there?" she asked, referring to the
Soulchaser and Jimmy, Philip pretty much taking care of the information having
to do with Alyssa to leave them free to deal with the matter at
hand.
She traced his cheek and jaw as he sat in the chair next
to her, nodding at the information she had gained.
