Julia rubbed the back of her neck and headed toward the
library, smiling when she reached there and saw the two already eating and Kat
into morning cartoons, even if still sleepy.
She slipped in beside Nick and grinned when he covered
Kat's eyes, making Kat giggle, and kissed Julia hello before murmuring it
to her and sliding his plate over so she could have some waffles, having put an
extra fork and cut some pieces for her so that she wouldn't have to bend or move
too much to eat.
"Mmm, chocolate." Julia grinned after returning his kiss,
running her thumb under his lips and taking a bite of waffle with the flavored
syrup.
Nick uncovered Kat's eyes and pointed out the cartoon
character now having a time on the screen and returning Julia's smile and
eating some more of his own serving.
