How did you achieve that? did you use vulcanizer? I'm staring a new project and would love to use polymer for my UI, but I was trying to transform a todo list web app (from one of the codelabs) that uses polymer into a chrome app and the result was not satisfactory at all. I managed to visualize some polymer elements on my chrome app but they looked terrible, I did that with vulcanizer. Also, I believe having to use vulcanizer is very unpractical, since you have to pass the main html file through vulcanizer every time you want to visualize a change.
