I am happy to provide a dump of the measurement data to anyone with skills in statistics who wants to propose a better scoring mechanism.
I don't think this particular server is a big problem. I am more interested in minimizing having servers in the pool that are or soon will be unavailable (or serve really bad time). A few hundred ms isn't a big deal. NTP clients will compensate and SNTP clients should be happy enough. - ask On Jun 7, 2010, at 6:43, Jos van de Ven <[email protected]> wrote: > Please look at the graph of this server: > > http://www.pool.ntp.org/scores/109.72.80.61 > > It has a score above 10 but I think it is behaving very bad (probably on a > virtual box) and treated as an outlier. > > My opinion is that this server should not be in the pool, which means should > have a score below 10. > _______________________________________________ > pool mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/pool _______________________________________________ pool mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/pool
