I'm just going to say "Uncle" on the GPS 18x LVC. I just found a
seller in the UK with the GPS 18 OEM LVC on eBay for £45. As soon as
it arrives, I'm starting over from scratch. :)

OK, Alby, but why not just reprogram the 18x with the earlier firmware and
save the £45? It only takes a few minutes. Download the firmware and
programming tool from:
