Okay, so it's something specific to my machine.

That would explain why it stopped (though it shifts the mystery to why
it was scheduled for deletion).

...and that'd be why: absent a non-https way to manage server
memberships in the pool, preferably a non-Web way, the only way my
machine will get there is for someone else to put it there.  ask was
nice enough to do that for me.

Thanks for explaining.  No big deal; I'll just shut down my watching of
the v6 monitoring, for now at least.
