I think there are two separate slots for recording the time stamp, one for assert, the other for clear. They are recorded as they happen. They will alternate. So the one that happens first depends upon when you look. If you look after the assert (before the clear) then the sequence will be clear before assert. If you look after the clear, then the sequence will be assert before clear. -- These are my opinions.
