Your server is an IPv6 one. Tracerouting from three different networks here in California I see ping times around 144ms (HE.net), 150ms (Cogent) and ~210ms (Highwinds). If the traceroute from here to you goes one way and the return traffic another that's what will show up... This happens with IPv4, too, but I see WAY more outliers like the Highwinds route to you on IPv6. To compare with IPv4 -- tracerouting from the same networks to your IPv4 address on your hostname I get (source networks in the same order) 144ms (still he.net), 140ms (he.net instead of cogent) and 167ms (Cogent instead of Highwinds). The third connection is a cable connection with "native" IPv6; the cable modem adds ~12ms so on IPv4 the ping times are way more consistent.
