Hello, that's more or less normal, since ntpd (and maybe other software) is resolving the currently used IP address to a host name. As an experiment I reduced my PTR TTL to 300 s and were able to see every five minutes a "large" amount of parallel queries to this PTR. "Large" in the sense of about 20-30 questions per second over 10 seconds.
With a regular TTL of 14400 seconds I can't see those queries in my monitoring.
