Users with such network connections can get an accuracy within 1ms.
I often observe offsets on the order of 0.2 ms on NTP servers synced like that.

This is appreciably better than what you get from only NMEA syncing to a GPS 
receiver,
so it certainly is better to have PPS sync on such a server.

Whether your users will notice and appreciate it, is another matter...
Most will probably use it only to set system time used only for display, 
running tasks, etc
and it will not matter to them at all.

However, it is always nice to do experiments like that!
