It would be possible to have a pool entry in some/many pool servers and open them to queries from the central server, which could query the peers list and thus see what is the quality of pool members as seen by other pool members. Of course it would open up the possibility of DDOS of the monitoring system as long as BCP38 has not been implemented widely.
