from chronyc tracking:

[[[ Residual freq : -0.000 ppm ]]]
[[[ Skew : 0.005 ppm ]]]
[[[ Update interval : 4116.3 seconds ]]]

surreal to have hardware stable enough (stratum 2 server)
where I'm able to lift the maxpoll to 12, yet still remain
within plus or minus 10 parts per billion for frequency.

I figure climate control is a major factor on these kinds
of timescales. is that right?

I've never operated a stratum 2 server on bare-metal
hardware before this, so probably the stability was poor
because it was in a rack with many other systems and had
other VPSes on the same board / enclosure, even)
