Yes Yes Outrage, or at least feigned outrage on the part of many  
senators as they stick their fingers in the air to see which way the  
political winds are blowing...

Where was the outrage from these very same senators and Administration  
as they signed the TARP legislation giving AIG taxpayer dollars with  
no strings attached.   If the Obama Administration had wanted (from  
the get-go) to stop frivolous AIG spending on Bonuses then he could  
have vetoed his treasury secretary from allowing the latest of  4 AIG  
Government Bailouts which occurred early March, 2009.  "He could have  
stopped the bonuses by stopping the bailout."  Which would have voided  
the company's contractual compensation obligations.  Bankruptcy would  
have avoided the Bonus Debacle.

"In the future, we can avoid having taxpayer dollars go to Wall Street  
bonuses by not bailing out private companies with taxpayer dollars."
