I just want to reiterate and echo everything Ben wrote to you. No one,
including myself, is obligated to submit a site with a POP3 service
upon every posting. Our POP3 list is a hobby and support group. No
one, least of all me, is expected to know technical details of Internet
protocols.

I saw nothing whatsoever for which Mr. Schoon owed us an apology. My
own posts yesterday were made to convey general knowledge about the
subject and to hopefully help some of our members who may be
experiencing problems with SMTP servers that require authentication.
