Infinite Technologies, owners of mailandnews.com and other services that use their software for webmail, pop3, imap and wireless technologies, has been acquired in a merger by AVT Corporation. MailandNews has not been working well, of late. They are making changes to the servers, but to what degree or to what purpose, we do not know. We will have to keep watch and see how the new owners will treat the mailandnews.com service and if in fact, it will remain a free pop3 service for us.
