Hi everyone. :-) This is not exactly topical but I thought I would mention this to our list. MailandNews.com has a new feature with their webmail interface. It is a calendar Scheduler. It is very colorful and seems to be very feature rich. And it appears as if you can have email reminders sent to you as you designate. I know we have expressed dismay with the way mailandnews.com has worked here lately and we are all concerned how the new owners are going to run the Infinite software, but for the time being mailandnews.com is an important service for us in many ways. As you may of heard, Google purchased the USENET arm of Deja.com. Presently Google only has a newsgroup search. You cannot post to newsgroups from a web interface as you used to do with Deja.com. Google promises that the features you used to use with Deja will return, but in the meantime I think possibly mailandnews.com is your best alternative if you do not have a news server with your ISP. MailandNews has over 30,000 newsgroups and can be used to facilitate your USENET needs -- from reading the groups to posting to them. So I would suggest to all of you that has not experienced mailandnews.com from the web interface, to run it through it's rings. Try the Scheduler and learn to work the News feature. You never know when you might need it. :-) Alan [EMAIL PROTECTED]
