Hi JM,

I beavered around for the answer to this which I had forgotten and someone
on another list responded thus:

"Where you would normally put the SMTP server address, add a colon and the
port number, as in

  smtp.softhome.net:25000
  smtp.mochamail.com:2525
  smtp.runbox.com:26
  whateverthenameis.yifan.net:1025      "

I tried this using Netscape 4.74 and it worked like a charm.

A - preferring alternates ports (because you never know . . .) in Canada
