The Telebot.com site has a whole new look. Plus they say they are
not accepting new email signups at this time.

http://www.telebot.com/

The site has the appearance as if the original company was acquired
by a Hong Kong company, "m-gens.com" which is a part of the
portelco.com enterprise.

I just tested a few of my telebot.com accounts that I've sort of
tucked away and forgotten. They we connecting to the server okay.
Maybe this m-gens.com outfit will improve service for our telebot.com
accounts. I hope so. Telebot has been inconsistent since we first
signed up for the service. It would have long, unexplained down
periods. You just could not depend on those accounts to subscribe to
lists using it. A little consistency here would be welcomed.

The telebot web site itself has several flaws. I could not login one
of my accounts for webmail because the form would only accept 8
characters and that account had 11 characters as it's username.
Another account failed to accept the password.

On the m-gens.com site itself, I attempted to fill out their signup
form. The form kept nagging me over and over to put 8 characters
into the password. There *were* 8 characters. I never did figure
out what it actually needed.

So I guess we just keep watch on this and see what develops.
