Give me a few days to wipe the crust out of my eyes. The reactivated
Popjourno has helped me to get out of hibernation mode - maybe it was
those Adam Ant lyrics you posted Alex.
Anyway, I'm glad to see this is back up. It provides a pleasant
contrast to the other list to which I subscribe, World Serpent
Distribution. As far as issues go, let me see if I can get caught up on
a few things:
1) Maaike, I haven't forgotten ya. I will have a "best" of Current 93
disc (probably 2 actually. It's had to fit their best on 1 disc) soon.
Hopefully I can work on it this weekend. THank you so much for the
Tindersticks tape. I've got to get Simple Pleasures on disc after
hearing it, cot be damned!
2) Did we ever get that recipe for gyoza? I'd love to see some more
recipes shared. Unfortunately, the Oni doesn't prepare many veggie
dishes :(
3) Web sites- Wow. You are all some web site designing fools. Your
pages all look utterly fantastic and unique - Make me fell pretty shabby
with my cut and paste junk. Alex, maybe you can send an old buddy some
improvement pointers. Just be sure to dumb it down.
4) A stereo warning. I've had problems updating my page with new
reviews of late as my stereo, a Harman Kardon FL 8350 stopped
recognizing discs about a month ago. It has taken me this long to reach
someone in customer service and I have also found out that this is a
COMMON problem with this model and the "improved" 8550. So, if you are
considering purchasing a new stereo, beware of HK - Do the research.
