Yes, summertime is trying - vainly - to raise it's head amidst these cold
Amsterdam nights, and I thought it appropriate to retune the PJ website just
a bit.
As you may have noticed, the site is now hosted at
http://www.pulped.co.uk/popjourno, and I'll soon be working on the
following:
a. Archives: This is a great free service, which is currently experiencing
a few hardware problems. As you may have seen, the posts are somewhat
outdated, often a week behind, but I've been assured the problem will be
fixed soon, so please be patient with that. It beats cutting and pasting
all of your words each day, plus it's searchable...
b. Members' Pages and Pics: Surely there are a few more members with a
website they'd like to link or a photo they'd like to send in. Please be my
guest!
c. Meet-Up Board: Not exactly sure what to do with this. It is meant as a
place for people to post - including date and place - to organize meet-ups,
but has been utilized as a guestbook of sorts (although it's mostly
complimentary, so I have mixed feelings!).
d. Chat: Dead as a dorrnail. I know that lots of you regularly chat
online and that there are lots of rum and bad places to do so, but it would
be a shame to see this fall by the wayside. Unfortunately, I don't have
many 'star connections', so I can't organize a Q and A with a mega-monster
of the entertainment scene just yet. If you have any ideas, please help...
e. Goodies: And yes - there'll be a new poll soon! Also, please let me
know if one of the links is down. I have a Mac, and when I looked on a PC
the other day, things looked different than at home.
Thanks for your input, and I hope you like the new design. I do, and it's
staying for a while!
