hullo all, whew! finals are over!!! i've been packing all day long and not enjoying it a bit. i've got Meeting People is Easy playing in the background and my door open even though it's SOOO hot out these days. anyway, it's back to austin for the summer and no more humid views of the San Antonio skyline from my balcony. does texas seem like another country to those of you not from here? i just wondered. i've just bought Figure 8 by elliot smith and am not sure what i think about it. i had to listen to xo a lot before i caught on to it... but the problem is Figure 8 sounds so much like xo. i'll have to sit down and concentrate on it very hard before i come to a conclusion. we shall see. that is all. i saw high fidelity earlier this week and thought it was adorable. i love john cusack anyway, but in this movie especially because i felt like all of the characters were taken from people i encounter in my life. alright. this is enough. i'm supposed to be packing. may the heat of summer be abated before it truly begins.
