andy and all others in this 'debate'...

let me say that i welcome any opinions and that i certainly don't regard
myself or my opinions expressed on this list as precious. if you don't like
something, say so. however, try to be constructive when you do it, and not
purely destructive. 'lame' to me does not constitute a good and descriptive
opinion as to why a band doesn't suit your taste.

also - and this is definitely in the list rules - it's a no-no to discuss
the list on the list. i'm guilty of this myself - also with this mail - and
i'd really prefer if we just stick to real topics, rather than slagging
others off.

also arien - also in the rules - please try to be more constructive than
just a quick one-line response to a post. or save them up for a lengthy
post.

sorry if i'm coming across as a dictator, but up until now this list has
been a good forum for intelligent discussions, and i think i speak for many
when i say that it would be a shame if it went down the toilet.
indiepop-list, anyone?!!

that's all the list discussion from me. if you have something to add, please
mail me privately.
