Thank you for confirming that. I highly doubt that my boss would be interested in adding this functionality to Poppler. But personally, I would be interested in the project. I will talk with him about this at our weekly meeting next Tuesday,
keep in mind that "adding this functionality" is not an all-or-nothing endeavour. All progress here is valuable, even if small. So if your company would be able to get only very rudimentary 3d support into poppler then this may motivative others to improve it. That has happened before, e.g., for signature support.
