I'm going to restart the build after a few fixes. I'm gonna stop using
mk.conf to override CC/LD/AS etc as shown in the llvm package README.
This breaks too many ports. Instead, I'll just keep the symlinks I had
in /usr/bin/* pointing at /usr/local/bin/*-16 programs. This should
limit the side-effects.
Using the tentative base llvm diff from Robert should give us something
more accurate to test both base and ports.

False positive, the mk.conf bits prevented egcc from being used, which
broke linking.
