thunderbird is garbage anyway. i say that while responding to this email using thunderbird. claws is better. i used sylpheed back in the day, then switched to thunderbird because i was unaware that claws existed (fork of sylpheed).

i'll switch to claws when i can be bothered. yeah, i just thought i'd ask. i don't want to maintain thunderbird in openbsd. let someone else add a newer version if they want to

i pondered about it when upstream reenabled the release channel, then
life happened & i moved to other things.  nothing prevents it, just
someone to do the grunt work and maintain it over time. oh, and
interested users, maybe.
