Hi.

>From
>https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/developer/cli-v1-maintenance-mode-announcement/:

"In alignment with our SDKs and Tools Maintenance Policy, version 1 of the AWS
Command Line Interface (AWS CLI v1) will enter maintenance mode on July 15, 2026
and reach end-of-support on July 15, 2027."

I would like to remove v1 and merge v2 directly into sysutils/awscli.
v2 can be used as a dropped in replacement, it's the same binary name etc. With
more features especially on authentication.
It works out of the box using my old v1 setup.

One coud argue that we could keep supporting v1 until its EOL but I'd rather
lower my workload and v1 can easily be installed using pip or similar.

Any Yay or Nay for me to move up with that plan?
Thanks.
