I agree with you that these long-unactive ports should be removed. I suggested remove security/p5-Crypt-GpgME last week and devel/p5-Device-USB last month, would you have a look of it ?

Unless there's a real use for this I would propose to drop rather than update, we don't need ports for all of cpan ..
